By sharing your knowledge, experience, skills and above all, your time with youth, you will be enhancing their well being. Local Youth Experience aims to provide a rewarding volunteer experience to those who are passionate in engaging the youth community.

Volunteer with the Youth

Program Volunteer

    As a Program Volunteer you'll have the opportunity to build relationships with the youth at Local. Having a strong role model to learn from and look up to can make a world of difference in a young person's life. You can choose to come in on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. The most important thing is that you are consistently coming so that the youth begin to know you and look forward to seeing you.

or Instructor

Do you have a passion that lends itself well to one of Local's programs? If so, then you may want to consider coming to Local as a guest speak or instructor.

We are especially looking for...

• chefs to teach youth how to make meals by themselves
  

Facilitate a Workshop

Facilitate a workshop – If you have a special skill that lies outside of our core program we may be able to work together on creating a workshop for the youth.
