Awesome Programming five days a week!
Our programs are geared toward youth with specific interests and passions. We give youth the chance to explore their interests in an group environment while connecting with people who have similar interests. All of our programs incorporate youth direction, meaning youth choose what topics they'd like to cover and what activities they'd like to experience. Youth who come to Local have the opportunity to meet new friends. We have youth from every school in Devon (including home school) coming to Local. For some youth, Local has become a second family because the friendships that they've made are so meaningful. At Local we emphasize togetherness and acceptance.

MONDAY
high school Hang 7:00 - 9:00
A weekly program for high school youth encompassing unstructured peer connections, leadership and personal development opportunities, and adventures outside of Devon that they may not normally have access to.

tuesday
THe local vibe 7:00 - 9:00
A weekly program for grades 5 & 6 that incorporate different activities from Local’s other programs including art, games, cooking, leadership, music, and theatre.
Wednesday
mighty morphing drama rangers 7:00 - 9:00
The Mighty Morphing Drama Rangers has been established in Devon for much longer than Local Youth Experience itself. Typically the group produces one full length drama production per year while also focusing on theatre sports, skills and games. Regular, committed attendance is required after casting.

Thursday
Come together 5:30 - 8:30
Our goal with Youth Cafe - Come Together is to provide youth with a place where they can spend time with their friends without feeling judged or burdensome. At Youth Cafe we cook delicious meals and eat what we make at the dinner table. It's sort of like a good old fashioned family supper. We start cooking at 5:30. After dinner we spend quality time with each other.
Friday
the big event - friday 7:00 - 9:30
Every Friday night at Local Youth Experience things get a little bit crazy. The Big Event is Local's most heavily attended program for one reason - it's ridiculously fun! With school, jobs and extracurricular activities, many youth lead busy, high stress lives so having a safe place to let loose and blow off steam is essential for their positive development. Big Events are different every week
